Engineered and developed by Mondo, this fully thermoplastic artificial turf backing derived from a newly innovative and patented manufacturing process is easier to install and recycle than traditional polyurethane-coated artificial turf backing. The thermoplastic contained within the layers is melted to adhere both backings together and permanently fuse the tufts in place.  Provides unparalleled tuft bind, consistent performance and playability.

MONDO™ 3NX Fiber
The  3NX fiber is an innovative monofilament fiber features a new semi-concave structure with three asymmetrical spines. The unique, patented design combined with a new state-of-the-art polymer provides superior molecular alignment and orientation of the fiber. The result is a fiber that has the optimum level of resilience, dimensional stability and recovery. With its increased resilience and structure, the 3NX fiber’s translational and rotational friction characteristics lend themselves to easy pivots and turns.

MONDO™  ECOFILL®
ECOFILL® is engineered to duplicate the performance of natural turf from a quantifiable safety and performance standards.  Ecofill®  is a polyolefin-based resilient granule – not reground rubber tires (crumb rubber) that meets the highest standard of playability and does not contaminate natural resources, cause adverse health effects or contain potentially harmful substances.

MONDO™ Fine Tuned System 
Made of recycled tires, treated and encapsulated sandwich-like between two polyester layers.  The recycled rubber is encapsulated in polyurethane eliminating any contamination due to recycled tires. The Fine Tuned Panel eliminates the risk of compaction and migration of the granule compared to the traditional systems.  This guarantees the initial biomechanical characteristics of the field will remain unchanged over time.  Provides for uniformity, controlled thickness and consistency across the playing field.

MONDO™ FTS3 System

MONDOTURFClassic Series
Mondoturf Classic Series designed for soccer and football is a standard or premium grade artificial turf system that combines optimum performance and safety. The components of Mondoturf classic series are: 3NX turf fiber or Hexagon monofilament fibers (60 mm); a thermo-bonded or polyurethane backing, and SBR infill. Also available as an option, FTS drainage/performance pad.
